In 1977 Eckington Motor Company was established and for over 40 years the firm has been selling and servicing used vehicles from the site on West Street.

Unfortunately in March 2018 the business closed down. The sales and service departments together with all staff have been transferred and amalgamated into the much larger and more modern operation at Direct Cars, the area’s largest car supermarket, situated a few minutes away near Crystal Peaks retail centre.

There is no affiliation between either Eckington Motor Company or Direct Cars with the car wash/car sales operation currently located on West Street.

Direct Cars intend to expand their used vehicle stock to include those quality pre-owned and affordable quality part exchange vehicles that the budget conscious buyer will find an interesting proposition.
